Despite a rain affected morning last Saturday, our Year 7 to 12s have started their APS summer campaigns with a great first week of training last week.

Attendance numbers were close to 100% across all activities and year levels which augers well for the season ahead.

With a full book of fixtures planned for this Saturday 11 February, can I remind families of some important points:

  • Sport training and games are compulsory for ALL students – if your child cannot attend for a legitimate reason, parents must email the relevant team manager before the session to explain the absence (team manager details can be found on the sports canvas page).
  • Students will find out their team this Friday at the sports meeting – we appreciate in some cases this is late, but with only one or two training sessions under our belts we are still trying to finalise appropriate teams – we thank you for your patience.
  • Fixtures can be accessed on the Carey app or on CareyLink under ‘sports fixtures’.
  • Winter sport changes are officially closed, no changes will be allowed from now on unless there is a legitimate medical reason.
