Dear Families

I am very pleased to share with you the results of our Year 12 Class of 2024.

We are immensely proud of our Year 12 students, not only for their outstanding academic achievements but also for their invaluable contributions to our school community over the years. They have demonstrated remarkable growth and resilience, rising to challenges and embracing new realities with determination. As a community, we celebrate their readiness to face the future with courage, curiosity and compassion.

While we are extremely proud of these results and our high performing students, these are but one measure of the achievement of this cohort. There are many stories that sit behind these numbers that demonstrate the personal growth and achievements of our students. No matter the result, we are confident that our students are well-prepared for the opportunities and challenges ahead. We wish our students all the very best as they take their next steps, which may include further study, joining the workforce or taking a gap year.

We sincerely thank our dedicated team of teaching and professional staff who work in partnership with our families to support each student to achieve their best.

University offers

We wish our students all the very best with the upcoming tertiary offer rounds which commence on Monday 23 December. We anticipate the majority of our students will be offered a place in their first preference for tertiary study, and most will be offered a place in one of their top three preferences. In addition, we are pleased to confirm that prior to the final examinations, around 70 students in 2024 received early offers to universities in Victoria or interstate. This means that around 20% of our Year 12 students are currently holding an early offer, with some students holding offers at more than one university. These offers can be based on a range of criteria such as Year 11 results, student statements addressing adversity, evidence of community service, student responses to criteria or questions, teacher recommendations or an interview. We would like to congratulate those students and wish them well with their studies.

Congratulations again Class of 2024! We wish you well on your journey and look forward to further celebrating these achievements at the Senior School Celebration Assembly on Friday 21 February 2025.

With best wishes

Jonathan Walter
Principal
