Carey has made a fantastic start to the APS Summer Sports season, with all students from Year 7 to 12 participating in training and games last weekend. Our rowing crews have been hard at it since mid-January and survived the gruelling Nagambie Rowing Camp and are preparing for the Head of the River on 26 March.
A special mention to our Year 7 students who had their first taste of Carey APS sport on Saturday, and judging by the smiles on faces they all had a great time wearing the Carey colours!
Sports reminders:
Carey sport and activities are compulsory and as such we expect all students to attend all trainings and Saturday fixtures. We ask that appointments are not scheduled during compulsory sport/activity times. If your child has an extraordinary reason for missing sport then please email the Staff Member in Charge of the activity prior to the absence (staff details are on the Carey app).
Canvas – students can access all of their sport/activity information via their individual sport/activity Canvas page – parents can also access team lists and details for weekend fixtures.
Winter Sport teams have been entered into the APS for the 2022 winter season, so we will not be allowing any changes to students’ winter co-curricular activities.
