There is something for everyone in our sports and activities program.
We offer a wide range of competitive sports catering for both beginners and more experienced participants. We also offer alternative activities such as dance, yoga, first aid and bike fitness for students who prefer to exercise in non-competitive ways.
Our Bulleen Sports Complex is set on 14 hectares situated halfway between our Kew and Donvale campuses. It comprises seven playing fields, dedicated indoor pools for swimming and diving and a large indoor stadium.
Our conveniently located Kew Sports Complex is currently used for physical education classes, sports training and interschool tennis and netball competition. We plan to redevelop and enhance this recently-acquired complex in the coming years.
Training and matches are scheduled after school and/or on Saturdays during term time at various venues across Melbourne. Home matches are held at our Kew campus or the Carey Sports Complex in Bulleen.
We compete in the Associated Public Schools (APS) or Associated Grammar Schools of Victoria (AGSV) in the following sports: athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, cross country, diving, football, futsal, hockey, netball, rowing, snowsports, soccer, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, touch rugby, volleyball and water polo.
We welcome parent involvement and several of the sports at Carey are supported by enthusiastic parent groups. These parents contribute greatly to the enjoyment and management of the sport.
We offer a limited number of General Excellence Scholarships for Year 7, Year 10 and Year 11.
